Robyn Raines recently went to India and witnessed local Water Warriors tirelessly working to bring sustainability to one of the world's driest regions. Water is precious in Jodhpur, India, and many do not have access to clean drinking water.
Here in Appalachia, we have access to water all around us, and yet we struggle as well with maintaining the health of our water sources and often take them for granted.
We have decided to work both locally and internationally with our service project. We will be working with individuals working towards community water cleanliness in India as well as with the Upper Tennessee River Roundtable - a local organization dedicated to the waters of Appalachia.
Two times per month we will have donation based community classes on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. All donations will go to support our Seva Project. We will also begin working towards a studio trip to Jodhpur in April 2019!
Join us for our next class to find out more!
